Emergency Care

At our Riccarton and Tauranga Team Dental branches, we provide emergency care for under-18s. When a dental emergency occurs, it’s important to get dental assistance as soon as possible.

Emergency dental care can range from fillings, to root canals, extractions, and accidents. When something is bothering your children, it’s important to get it seen as soon as possible. Here at Team Dental, we are happy to see your kids for emergency dental care - even if they aren't regular patients at our branches. Looking after your kids is what matters most. 

In the case of a dental accident, to maximize the chances of being able to rescue your children’s teeth, you should come to a dentist as soon as possible. Because we know accidents can occur on any day of the week, both of our Riccarton and Tauranga Team Dental branches are open 365 days a year. 

In the case of accidents, ACC will cover the majority of the costs.

If the accident occurs outside of our Team Dental practicing hours, we recommend you visit your nearest hospital emergency room to have the injury looked at as soon as possible.

General Dental Care for Kids

Team Dental isn’t just an emergency dental care provider, we also provide regular general dental care for kids. Dentistry for children is incredibly important, as how we look after their teeth growing up can have lasting impacts on their teeth all the way into adulthood. This is why Team Dental is proud to provide dental care for kids, with 13-17 year olds able to register for regular dental care at a number of our branches.
